Continuous Automated Adversarial Testing
CAAT
Controlled adversarial validation
Do the controls actually work when they are tested?
CAAT runs controlled, approved tests against security controls and exposed paths. It records what happened, determines PASS, FAIL, or INCONCLUSIVE from the evidence, and keeps each test within customer-set scope and safety limits.
Controlled test sequence
How CAAT runs
A useful test has a defined target, scope, and result.
Uses approved test profiles and campaign limits instead of unrestricted attack automation.
Keeps the test, observed control response, any separately approved correction, and final validation as distinct steps.
A test runs only with customer authorization for its targets, scope, time window, and test profile.
Sends the result and supporting control evidence into Evidence Continuity and the rest of VitalSec.
Evidence Continuity
What becomes evidence.
Evidence Continuity keeps the test definition, observed response, final result, and source history together so the control can be evaluated from evidence instead of assumption.
Permissions and limits
What stays under customer control.
CAAT is not an unrestricted penetration-testing service and does not enable destructive testing by default. Every run is limited to the approved profile, environment, customer authorization, target, safety limits, and time window. A demonstration or synthetic test never grants permission to test a customer environment.
